We’ve made it to the 19 week mark, YAY! This Friday we will be finding out if we are having a boy or a girl, and I am SO excited! Now that my belly is really starting to pop, and especially with these hot summer days, I’m finding it a little hard to get dressed every day. My husband and I spent all of Saturday afternoon scouring the shopping centre for maternity clothes and I literally only came away with one pair of printed maternity jeans from Target. Why is it so hard to find a maternity section in this country?? Even Myer, the gigantic department store reckoned they didn’t have any.

Anyways, I’ve been looking online and have also had a few good recommendations from you guys, so the search will go on ;) For now it’s just making do with what I have in my closet!

(If anyone else has recommendations for maternity clothing/stores either in Perth or online, please do share! xKx)

Looking great! So exciting and frustrating all at the same time once that bump starts to appear! I ordered a few nice things from asos.com and was very happy with them. I also had really good luck at an H&M when we were vacationing in Arizona. Not sure if you have one of those there though.

I love Asos, I have a few things in my cart that I’ve been meaning to buy ;) As for H&M, I WISH we had one here, it is something we are seriously lacking! Thanks for the comment <3

Looks great! I’m 26 weeks and iv bought one maternity dress so far which I haven’t worn yet! I got it from pumpkin patch.. But iv had the same problem target was hopeless! Iv heard there r specialty stores in subiaco and Perth but they r super expensive! I found there is a lot more available online, especially in swimwear, try queen bee maternity :)

Thanks for the tips Jess, it looks like I will be doing a bit of online shopping! I thought maybe it was just me that couldn’t find maternity clothes in this city, I’m not sure what they expect preggos to wear! ;)

Its terrible trying to find maternity clothes here in Perth isn’t it!! There are a couple of maternity stores in Subiaco, i haven’t been but i think they are pretty decent. Otherwise BigW has some cute stuff, not a huge amount though… Hope you find something :-)

Iv seen a maternity section in the Perth City Target store. Otherwise I think a few maxi dresses from Temt or Valleygirl should get you through some of this hot uncomfy weather! Best of luck with finding out the sex …. how exciting :)

Your looking great!! Maternity clothes are ridiculously hard to find in perth!! I never went to subi, but one of my friends was very happy with her finds there. Kmart actually have some maternity clothing at the moment, And I went to Bull creek target because I found they had more stock there (not sure what carasel is like). I went to Jeans West for denim as they have a maternity range, it isn’t big, but hey, better than nothing!! Otherwise try Baby Bunting (can remember if they have womens clothes), Mothercare, Pumpkin Patch… but expect to pay a lot. Let us know how you go with the online shopping, a lot of people are starting to go in that direction. All the best :)
