W.A. designer Garth Cook mixed gorgeous textured metallic material with printed chiffon, colour blocked heels and unique cuts to make for a spectacular show last Friday night during Perth Fashion Week. I loved the structure of his pieces, and seriously… that material!

On day two of Savoir Faire Perth Fashion Week 2012 (view my outfit post here), I attended the New Gen show (well the last half of it anyways, thanks to an oversized truck tripling my travel time on the way up) and Ready to Wear.
These first three photos are the designs of Jonté, part of the New Gen show. As you can see, there were embellishments in all the right places.

Day two of Perth Fashion Week was amazing. We had three shows to go to: New Gen, Ready to Wear, and Garth Cook (posts coming soon! UPDATED: view posts here and here) I opted for a more comfortable outfit for the shows and walking in the city (although I could have used some flats. Whoops.). (more…)
